How did the "magic minute" help your learning process? (magic minute was the 60 seconds we spent reviewing what you thought was the most important thing you learned)

I didn't think these were very helpful at all.

I think it's good to get the class doing a little active learning, but by the time it got to the minute of magic, many times we were out of time, and when you learn alot of important topics during the lecture, it's hard to just pick one.
Over all, I did not find them useful. I think what would have been a little more useful is if there was a main slide at the end of each lecture, pointing out the most important topics. Then you can have the students volunteer to tell you about some of the main topics. That way things will be a little more concrete for us, and you will get the participation/interaction with the class.

I didn't get anything out of it personally. I agree with Leedia.

I will have to position myself differently from the above. Magic minute provided me time to review the lecture, to look at what was taught, and to sort through the chaff from the wheat. So, it was pretty helpful. The lectures usually have couple important points, so there really isn't one most important. Still, I think it is good to get us to pause, and to to think.

Jason Kung (#249). I know. I know. The class is over, and I don't get points for this, but it is still funny to type my name and #249 - it adds crdibility to my comment. =)
