How did creating and posting your own exam questions help you in this class?

This was a good idea and it forced me to review the material but I didn't like having to go through 87 something questions every week. I think it would have been better to have required posting 3 questions total for the course...otherwise, the questions would become repititive.

It was a good idea, although by the time 20 people had posted questions, it would get really hard not to repeat the same question! + Some people looked at it as a competition to RUN at 9:51 to post a question!

It's great to have the oppportunity to write our own questions, but having to write one EACH week was a little bit excessive. I agree with having a limit, like 3-4 questions per person. That way everyone gets a chance to participate, but we do not have tons of questions that are really similar.

Rather than being a competition, it was more like trying to get it out of the way so you don't end up forgetting!
Perhaps if we had more time on our hand, unanswered questions section would have been more interactive.

At the time, it was a bit annoying to have to come up with a question every week. But in the end, it really helped me study..the repetition of certain questions highlighted important concepts which I may have missed on my own.

I just flat out forgot half the time to post a question. Not intentionally, but with the load of this quarter and the other groups that I volunteer for, it slipped my mind (returning to my mind of course the following Saturday morning after the busy week had ended:). So my suggestion would be to at least extend the deadline to the end of the weekend. Also... it was quite funny to see that only 60 some-odd students (myself NOT included) had submitted a question for the first week, but by the end of the second week somehow that number had bumped up to 87 (hmmmm... who could that 88th person be:) The same phenomenon happened other weeks as well.

It was a great way to make sure that I knew the material after having read the handouts.
